Place hamburger meat in a bowl, add garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper and mix gently. (Feel free to add as little or as much seasoning as you want. It’s your burger!) Be careful not to overmix.
Put on some sunscreen and heat up that grill! Grill burgers 3-5 minutes on each side depending on your preferred doneness. Add cheese during the last minute of grilling.
Remove from grill and dress those burgers the way you like! Mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, pickled jalapeños, and Head Country BBQ Sauce are highly recommended but not required.
