Braum’s opened their new store in Bixby located at 10934 South Memorial Drive East on Monday, June 14th.

This store replaces the older location at 12106 South Memorial built in 1983. The older location closed its doors on Sunday, June 13th at 10:30 p.m., and the new store opened the next morning at 6:00 a.m. The new store, which is one mile north of the older store, is one of the company’s latest, most modern store designs – a model “X”.

“Being a family owned company gives us the opportunity to do some unique and innovative things,” said Drew Braum, President and CEO. “We’re always looking for ways to enhance the customer’s experience at our store and, through the years, we’ve made a lot of improvements to the store’s design and efficiency,” Braum said. “We hope the folks in Bixby like the new model,” Braum said.

The ‘X’ model store has almost 5,000 (five thousand) square feet and is only the sixth ‘X’ model design in the company. The store exterior is a mixture of rock and red brick featuring a modular stone tower and open frame canopies. The interior has stained concrete floors and a dining room that seats approximately 74 guests. The Fresh Market grocery area is very large with wide aisles, double checkout counters, and automatic doors. The new store also has double drive through windows.

The store employs up to 50 full time and part time employees.
