Oklahoma City’s newest Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Store, located at 2001 Northwest 164th, is opened on Tuesday, March 23rd.
This new store is the company's latest, most modern store design with 5,756 (five thousand seven hundred fifty six) square feet and seating for 86 guests. This is the fourth “W” model store design to be built in Oklahoma City.
“My family and I worked on this store design for several years. We wanted it to have a warm, home-like feeling with all the amenities,” Braum said. “From the stacked stone exterior to the stained concrete floors, this store doesn’t look like a ‘typical’ Braum’s,” said Drew Braum, President.
The new store has the traditional Fountain Area for ice cream and Grill Area for sandwiches. The Fresh Market is much larger to accommodate Braum’s full lines of dairy and bakery products, as well as over 150 fresh meats, fruits and vegetables and much more. The Fresh Market also has wider aisles, double check out counters, and automatic doors for easier customer shopping.
Bill and Mary Braum opened their first Braum’s store in Oklahoma City in 1968 and the company continues to be family owned and operated. Today there are 278 Braum’s stores located throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Missouri, and Arkansas.
